I came to Seogwipo with no plan to rush anything. No chasing the schedule, no hot spots, I just wanted to walk slowly and see what a quiet green corner of Jeju felt like. This fell right in that mood. It's tucked in a forest right next to the town, so you go from city to trees really fast. Parking is free at the entrance, so driving here is easy. Ticket is 2,000 won each. The path in is flat and clean, easy walking, no real hiking. The forest is thick and subtropical, the leaves make a green tunnel over you, and the light comes through in little patches that move with the wind. I mostly heard birds and then the sound of water getting louder as I got closer. It was damp and fresh, smelled like plants, and a bit cool from the stream. Slow walk, nobody around making noise, I did feel a bit calmer by the end of it. On the way you go down a long staircase to get to the viewing platform. Not many people there. The water drops down a dark lava rock cliff into a pool, and it gives off a thin mist rather than a big spray. The story is that fairies used to bathe here, and standing there it does feel that quiet and gentle. But, being honest, it's not the dramatic "water crashing down" waterfall I had pictured. It looked more ordinary than a lot of small mountain falls I've seen. Whole visit took about 20 minutes. If you want the same photo everyone takes: find the tallest rock, stand on it, and have your friend shoot from about 5 metres back. There was a queue in front of that rock. I'd say go if you're nearby anyway, the ticket is cheap and the forest walk is lovely. Making a special trip just for it? Not worth it, bad value for the time.
