I hiked 12 km to reach this place. This is one of the famous waterfalls in North Goa, called Dudhsagar Falls. It is one of the most impressive waterfalls in Asia. The waterfall has a total drop of 310 meters and an average width of about 30 meters, though it appears much larger in person. Since it is located in a monsoon region, it is especially spectacular during the rainy season in Goa. The falls flow through the Western Ghats, surrounded by dramatic mountains and dense forests. The best way to experience it is by train or off-road vehicle, although hiking is also possible. The train is considered the most convenient and shortest option.
