Seljalandsfoss is known as one of Iceland’s most photogenic waterfalls. Its greatest highlight is that you can walk behind the waterfall and experience its grandeur from a completely unique perspective.
It is located on Iceland’s South Coast along Route 1, about 120 km southeast of Reykjavík.
The waterfall has a vertical drop of about 60 meters. Its water originates from meltwater of the Eyjafjallajökull glacier.
