If nature had a wedding, then the bride’s veil would be hidden right here. Deep in the valley of Chilliwack, the waterfall gently flows down from the cliffs above. The mist spreads softly through the air, dreamlike and delicate, like a white veil draped over the lush green forest. You can simply search “Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park” to navigate directly to the parking lot. Parking is free. Note that the parking lot is a one-way loop, so do not drive against the flow. It’s about a 1.5-hour drive from Vancouver. The walk up is very easy and friendly. After parking, it only takes about a 10-minute walk from the car park to start hearing the waterfall getting closer. The whole trail is a forest path, and it’s suitable for seniors and kids. The air is so fresh that you naturally want to take deeper breaths. The moment the waterfall appears in front of you, it genuinely takes your breath away. The water falls in soft layers, light like a bridal veil yet powerful in presence. Standing there, the breeze carries mist onto your face, feeling like a blessing from nature itself. ### Photography tips: The best angle is from a slightly farther distance, where you can capture the full shape of the waterfall. Using a 2x zoom makes it even more beautiful. On sunny days, you may even catch a rainbow forming beside the falls, like lace decorating a bridal veil. Bridal Veil Falls is not a physically demanding trip, but it offers a deeply calming and romantic experience. It exists quietly, waiting to be discovered. This is one of those places where you spend very little time but get an incredible view in return. Whether it’s a couple’s outing, a family trip, or a solo escape, it’s absolutely worth visiting.
